Dangote, Fashola for Lagos NIPR Stakeholders' Conference

The Lagos State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) will hold its first annual stakeholders' conference on Friday at the MUSON Centre in Onikan, Lagos with the Theme: Effective Stakeholders' Engagement and Corporate Profitability.


According to the Chairman of NIPR, Mr. Joseph Okonmah, the conference would attract respected personali­ties in the corporate world. He said: "We are honoured to note that the plenary ses­sion is being chaired by the President, Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, while the keynote address is ex­pected to be delivered by the governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN)."


He also noted that the conference and workshop, involving major corporate organisations in the country, would attract respected resource persons and provide opportunities for leading organisations in the country to make presentations.


Some of the guest lecturers expected at the conference include Dr. Rotimi Oladele, President/Chairman Govern­ing Council of NIPR; Prof. Pat Utomi, Founder CVL; Dr. Isah Momoh, Director, PhD Programme and HOD Communication and Media Enterprise, Pan-Atlantic Uni­versity; Mr. Femi Adesina, MD/editor-in-chief, The Sun Publishing Limited/President of NGE; Chido Nwakanma, President of PRCAN; Dr. Phil Osagie, Managing Part­ner, JSP Corporate Commu­nications Nigeria and Mr. Olu Akanmu, Senior Vice President/Divisional Head of Retail Banking, FCMB.
