Alhaji Aminu Ringim, Chief of Staff to Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State has resigned from the cabinet in order to pursue political ambition.
Ringim's resignation was confirmed by Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Kafin-Hausa, spokeman to Governor Lamido, who also disclosed that two other aides of the governor have disengaged from their appointment with the governor.
The other two individuals are Alhaji Sani Yau Babura, who resigned his appointment as Commissioner II at the Dutse Capital Development Agency (DCDA) to contest for the House of representative seat representing Babura /Garki Federal constituence as well as Alhaji Umar Danjani Hadeijia who resigned as Special Assistant on Students Matters to the governor. Alhaji Hadeijia was nominated to contest for the Hadeijia constituency in the State House of Assembly
We are yet to garner details on the position the Chief of Staff would be interested to contest for after 16 years as Chief of Staff to two governors in the state; Governor Saminu Turaki and Governor Sule Lamido.
