Yesterday, I reported that in the early hours of Sunday, the 1st of September 2013, 9 members of Nigeria's ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) met their untimely death while returning from PDP convention that held in Abuja yesterday.Here's the update... 9 PDP members reportedly died on the spot while several others suffered severe injuries.The accident happened along Abuja-Jos highway.According to Federal Road Safety Commission officials, the car accident happened about 38km from Kafanchan on the forest route around 8am on Sunday morning.The 2 vehicle that collided, a Volkswagen Salon car and a Toyota Hiace bus carrying the delegates were completely destroyed.The injured have been transferred to Kafanchan General Hospital.The bodies of those killed in the car accident have been moved to the mortuary.
