Nicki Minaj Insists She And DJ Khaled Are 'Like Siblings'

That awkward moment when you do something mega embarrassing and you style it out by pretending it was all a big joke, a laugh, an absolute riot, and you weren't in fact deadly serious and now want to chew your own arm off in humiliation... Yeah, DJ Khaled knows that feeling.

The rapper proposed to Nicki Minaj through that most romantic of media, MTV, last week and is now insisting that it was all fun and games after she rejected him.

"I was just having fun with it and just show love," he told interviewers while digging a hole through the floor with a teaspoon.
"I was joking with it and having fun. We be so busy making these big hits and I wanted to come with a dope plan to present the next smash single besides just giving it out."

The would-be couple have been busy making their new single, and after DJ Khaled appeared on the music channel bearing a huge rock costing a swift half-mill, Nicki shut him down by maintaining they are more like siblings.

"Yo, Khaled is crazy. Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that damn proposal, ya'll. Please let it go. He was kidding. He's not attracted to me, he doesn't like me. We're brother and sister," she virtually screamed while writhing around in absolute stitches at the very idea of getting it on with the rapper.
