Michael Jackson's Daughter In Psychiatric Hospital For Too Long – Uncle

Randy Jackson is launching his own investigation into the hospitalization of his niece, Paris Jackson. Since his 15-year-old niece attempted to commit suicide on June 5, she has been receiving treatment at an undisclosed facility — and Randy thinks it's time she came home. The 51-year-old musician went on a Twitter rant Monday, Aug. 19 about Paris' hospitalization: "I don't like that Paris is
still in this facility. It's not right."
"She's been there much too long.""She is not psychotic. There is no reason for her to be in a psychiatric hospital this long away from her family," he added.
"I just hate the fact that you will probably still be there on my brother's birthday. This is not good." (Paris' father Michael Jackson, who died in June 2009, would have celebrated his 55th birthday on Aug. 29.) The King of Pop’s only daughter attempted to take her own life by overdosing on "20 Motrin" and cutting herself with a kitchen kngee."She has major depression issues, a lot of it stemming from her dad's death. It's very real and very sad," a source told Us Weekly at the time."She has been extremely depressed and not been able to sleep lately, staying up all night."But now, Paris' uncle Randy is worried about her mental state during her extended in-patient stay."There's something more to this, there's something going on, I don't like it I'm afraid for her," he tweeted. "Psychiatric hospitals oftentimes make you feel as though you're psychotic when you're not. Sometimes they make matters worse."
"I'm going to look into this," Randy added.
"Stay tuned."Paris' biological mother, Debbie Rowe, responded to Randy's claim on Twitter, writing, "As usual you are grossly misinformed."
