Otunba Mike Adenuga, CEO and owner of Glo Telecoms is gradually preparing for death. The billionaire businessman has bought a burial spot for a whopping N200 million naira. I learnt Adenuga has secured a place for his own burial at Vaults and Garden cemetery in Ikoyi, Lagos. Hmmm... This is the same cemetery late Nigerian singer Goldie Harvey was bruied. Vaults and Garden cemetry, located beside Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria building was opened for business on the 30th of October 2006 by Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) leader and the former governor of Lagos state, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The cemetery has reserved spots for the wealthy and for super-wealthy folks. The space for the wealthy starts from N750,000 and above while the super wealthy spots cost around N40 million and above. The 2nd portion has a beautiful gate, garden and all sort of elegant mundane things.
The younger sister of Mike Adenuga, Mrs Esther Osunade who passed away in 2009 was buried in the super-wealthy spot. #I wonder how people think... Of what use is a burial ground to the dead?! People just like to spend stupidly! One's goal after death should be ONLY to make heaven.
