A popular slum located behind the CMB Market in the Accra's Business District was on fire yesterday.
Scores of makeshift structures serving as accommodation are reported to have been consumed by the devastating fire which started around 8pm Tuesday.
Personnel from the National Fire Service as well as other security services are at the scene battling the ravaging inferno.
The cause is not yet known.
