28-year-old Obafemi Martins has played for eight clubs since leaving his native Nigeria for new pastures: Reggiana, Inter Milan, Newcastle, Wolfsburg, Rubin Kazan, Birmingham, Levante and now American MLS outfit Seattle Sounders.
